Lord Christopher Geidt GCB, GCVO, OBE, QSO, PC is Chairman and was appointed in 2024. He was formerly Chairman (International Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility) at Schroders plc, the asset manager, and a Member of the International Advisory Board of BAE Systems plc. Christopher has also served as the Independent Advisor on Ministers' Interests, the Prime Minister's so-called 'Ethics Adviser'.
He has been Chair of Council at King's College London since 2016 and a Crossbench (independent) Member of the House of Lords since 2017, most recently serving on its International Agreements Committee. Christopher previously served in the Royal Household for nearly twenty years, including for a decade as the Private Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II. His earlier career had been in military and diplomatic service, including on active service and postings in the Gulf, Cambodia, former Yugoslavia, Brussels and Geneva.
Christopher lives on a sheep farm in Scotland and also runs an advisory practice in partnership with leading universities with interests including materials science and vocational education. He was the last Honorary Regimental Colonel of the London Scottish Regiment before its absorption into the Scots Guards in 2022.
Tim Shenton FCA qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979 and has 40 years’ experience within the Lloyd’s Insurance market having moved from private practice in 1984. Since this time, he has held senior regulated positions of Finance Director, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer working with the Kellett/Archer/Chartwell Group, Omega and CMGL/Capita. Since 2012, he has been Finance Director with the ICP Holdings Ltd group.
Tim has been an investor in the ICP fund since 2013.
Sir Nicholas Bacon KCVO, OBE, DL has been a name at Lloyd's since 1978 and is a director of numerous start ups.
In 1998, Nicholas was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant of Norfolk and served as High Sheriff of Norfolk for which he was awarded the OBE in the 2010 New Year's Honours for services to the community in Norfolk.
In 2005, he was appointed to the Prince's Council of the Duchy of Cornwall and the following year succeeded the 3rd Earl Peel, GCVO, as Lord Warden of the Stannaries and Chairman of the Prince's Council.
For his services as Lord Warden of the Stannaries, he was awarded the KCVO in the 2023 New Year's Honours and in March that year, was appointed an Extra Equerry to King Charles III.
Nicholas was President of the Royal Horticultural Society (2013 to 2020).
Lord Jonathan Marland is Chairman of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council which is a not-for-profit organisation which promotes trade and investment, across the 56 Commonwealth member states. Jonathan has served as the Prime Minister's Trade Envoy, Minister for Energy and Climate Change and Business, Innovation and Skills.
He has multiple business and charitable interests and his insurance career included being one of the founding directors of Jardine Lloyd Thompson, a multinational insurance business. He also founded the Jubilee Insurance Company at Lloyd’s of London and is chairman of a bespoke group of insurance companies. He led the acquisition of ICP.
